From Hostel to Hotel

On the quincentennial celebration of Magellan's "discovery" of Cebu in 1521, we opened our 56-room hotel, built just beside the original 5-room hostel of the same name, a humble reminder of how far we've come.
The hostel, home to many adventurers for years, has now been converted into the home of our staff.
Its walls are artfully decorated with hand-painted murals depicting historical elements of our island's rich history, and we've echoed these in the new rooms, paying tribute to the Cebuano's world-famous artistry.
We're the new kid on the block, but suffused with an old history that is felt in every aspect of our people and the entire property.
